Job Description

Kahawa Pamoja Tanzania Limited based in Mkuranga-Pwani in Tanzania is currently seeking an adaptable, successful, committed, and experienced Human Resources and Administration Manager to support the development of our activities.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the implementation of corporate standard policies on all aspects of Human Resources.

  • Ensure communication and compliance of all internal policies and procedures as well as external regulations and applicable labor laws

  • Maintain biodata and ensure it has updated information

  • Coordinate learning and development programs

  • Staff briefings and induction programs for all new staff.

  • Follow up on employment and consultants contracts and advise management on imminent issues like renewal and payment dates

  • Facilitate the registration of new staff with relevant statutory bodies such as NSSF, WCF, NHIF and the like as required by law.

  • Payroll administration, staff benefits processing.

  • Maintenance of staff debtor’s ledger (i.e. salary advances, staff loans etc.)

  • Facilitate Foreign employees to obtain work and resident permits as required  by the law

  • Facilitated Reservations and ticketing for conferences and travels respectively.

  • Responsible for planning, streamlining, and executing administrative workflows and procedures.

Preferred Experience

Proven working experience in a similar role for at least 4 years.

BA (or more) in Human Resource, Corporate Management or relevant degree.

expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, HR policy development and compliance with labor regulations.

Computer skills on MS Office, Human Resource & Payroll software and databases.

Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Fluency in English (reading and writing).

Please note that this 12-month fixed term contract is likely to be renewed.
